Christ Vriens is the Department Head of Software Engineering Services in Philips Research Europe. He works at MiPlaza? (Microsystems Plaza). The MiPlaza? facilities are located at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, the Netherlands and offers world-class expertise, service and infrastructure, enabling you to carry out high-tech research in the most efficient way.

Philips is a big multinational firm that has always been on the forefront of innovation in the areas of medical systems and lifestyle products. Increasingly we see that software plays a big role inside the medical systems and lifestyle products. Christ is going to talk about why Agile software development has become a very important part of the innovation cycle at Philips and how Philips is planning to use it effectively across their product development facilities spread across the world.

Please note that the session with Christ Vriens, who is working in a consumer focused innovation environment, will be a rare opportunity for North India Agile User Groups because we usually get foreign guests from software consulting business. So please do not miss this great opportunity.

7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Shrikant and Abhishek – Xebia

Shrikant and Abhishek are passionate Agile practitioners having many years of software development experience. You might remember that we started AgileNCR with a presentation on Pair Programming. In past 2 years we have learnt a lot about this collaborative programming style which is liked by some and hated by some. In this presentation, Shrikant/Abhishek will share their pair programming experience on a Distributed Agile project in a presentation titled "Effective Agile Software Development with Collaborative Programming". They will highlight how pair programming has led to shared understanding of code base, better quality and knowledge sharing. For the first time, they will also share their experience with Distributed Pair Programming.

We do not know whether you love or hate pair programming but this will be a great opportunity to hear about it from two passionate Agile practitioners, who find it very useful.
